NHS Activist & Rehabilitation Nurse
Fighting for a properly funded, publicly owned NHS — because healthcare is a right, not a privilege. A rehabilitation nurse and grassroots campaigner speaking out for patients, staff, and the future of our health service.
Who I am
I'm Siobhan Aston, a Rehabilitation Nurse and NHS activist based in Scotland. I've worked in the NHS for around a decade and have been involved in grassroots campaigning since 2020 through NHS Workers Say NO. In 2024 I trained to become a Trade Union Rep.
The NHS is one of the greatest achievements of our society. I believe it deserves to be defended with the same passion and determination with which it was built — the promise given was "From the cradle to the grave" and I believe that the people of the UK will fight to prevent that promise being broken.
Healthcare free at the point of need — for everyone, regardless of income.
Nurses and healthcare workers deserve wages that reflect the vital work they do.
The NHS belongs to all of us — and it must stay that way.
