NHS Activist & Rehabilitation Nurse

Fighting for a properly funded, publicly owned NHS — because healthcare is a right, not a privilege. A rehabilitation nurse and grassroots campaigner speaking out for patients, staff, and the future of our health service.

Defending Our NHS

About Me

I'm Siobhan, a Rehabilitation Nurse and NHS activist based in Scotland. I've worked in the NHS for around a decade and have been involved in grassroots campaigning since 2020 when I joined NHS Workers Say No. Taking part in Protests and Demos helped me realise the importance of being active within the Trade Union movement. I became an active member within the RCN and in 2024 I began training to become a Trade Union Rep.

The NHS is one of the greatest achievements of our society. Corridor Care, Ward Closures, Short Staffing and pay that has fallen well below inflation are all contributing to the demise of once the most enviable health system in the world. I believe it deserves to be defended with the same passion and determination with which it was built — the promise given was "From the cradle to the grave" and I believe that the people of the UK will fight to prevent that promise ever being broken.

Universal Healthcare

Healthcare free at the point of need — for everyone, regardless of income.

Fair Pay for NHS Staff

Nurses and healthcare workers deserve wages that reflect the vital work they do.

Public Ownership

The NHS belongs to all of us — and it must stay that way.
